To promote academic communications and high-level strategic mutual trust, and to discuss on promoting closer mutual beneficial partnership during the Trump administration, United States Institute of Peace and Georgetown University co-held an international forum on “Cooperation or Competition: China and the US in Conflict Zone”. More than 100 scholars from the United States Institute of Peace, CSIS, George Washington University, University of the United States, Johns Hopkins University, University of Texas and other institutes participated in the forum. Deputry director and researcher of the Middle East Studies Institute of Shanghai International Studies University Sun Degang attended this forum and delivered keynote speech.
