On February 21, 2023, Associate Researcher Bao Chengzhang from the Middle East Studies Institute, Shanghai International Studies University, was invited to give a lecture entitled The 'Three Rings Summit' and Future-oriented Sino-Arab Cooperation to the Business School of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The lecture was held in the form of an online conference, which is one of the lectures in the School's On the World Series. The lecture was hosted by Mr. Lu Weicheng, President of the Undergraduate Alumni Association, and attended by students, faculty, alumni and business people from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The lecture focused on the historical basis and real motivation of Sino-Arab cooperation, China's diplomacy with Afghanistan, the international and regional background and main outcomes of the Three Rings Summit, the prospect of Sino-Arab cooperation, the role and advantages of Hong Kong in China's cooperation with Afghanistan, and other issues.
