On January 10, 2023, an international symposium on China-Iran Humanities Exchange in the Post-Epidemic Era was held online. The seminar was co-organized by Yunnan University and Mustafa International University of Iran, and organized by the Iranian Studies Center of Yunnan University, the country study center of the Ministry of Education, Institute of International Relations-Regional Country Studies, Yunnan University. More than 30 experts, scholars and postgraduates from Shanghai International Studies University, Beijing International Studies University, Southwest University, Northwestern University, Shaanxi Institute of International Studies, Yunnan University, and relevant research institutes of several Chinese and Iranian universities, including Mustafa International University, Qom University, and Liberty University, attended the meeting online. Professor Ding Jun, Director of the Middle East Studies Institute of Shanghai International Studies University, was invited to attend the conference and gave an academic speech entitled Dynamics and resistance of humanistic exchanges and people-to-people ties between China and Iran.
