On December 26, 2022, the 'Seminar on High Quality Cooperation between China and Arab Countries in the New Era' was held online, hosted by Ningxia University and organized by the China Institute for Arab Countries of Ningxia University and the Beijing Center for Sea-Land Economic Development and Security Strategy Research. Experts and scholars from relevant national ministries and commissions, as well as many universities and research institutes across China, conducted in-depth discussions on topics related to China-Arab cooperation in the new era. Professor Ding Jun, Director of the Middle East Studies Institute of Shanghai International Studies University, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech entitled 'China-Arab Cooperation in the New Era: Answering the Questions of the Times and the Middle East through Action'.
