The 2022 Humboldt Scholars Forum Bonn-Chengdu, organized by the Humboldt Forum Beijing and the Chengdu Research Institute of the University of International Business and Economics, was held online on December 9-10, 2022. More than 100 scholars from China and Germany participated in the conference. The Humboldt Foundation, the German Consulate General in Chengdu and the Humboldt Forum in Beijing attended the conference and delivered speeches.

Humboldt Forum: Global Energy Supply Chain and Green Low-carbon Development, 'Humboldt Forum: International Cooperation and Interdisciplinary Intersection', 'The 2nd Humboldt Forum on Regional and Country Studies' and 'China and the World' were held simultaneously. 

Professor Ding Long from the Middle East Studies Institute of Shanghai International Studies University was invited to participate in the Regional and Country Studies Forum and made a speech entitled 'Promoting Sino-German Exchange and Cooperation in Middle East Studies'.
