On the evening of March 7, 2023, the 2023 Annual Presidential Meeting of the Chinese Society of World Ethnicities was held in the form of a Tencent Meeting. More than 20 experts and scholars from the President, Vice Presidents and Secretariat of the Chinese Society of World Ethnicities attended the meeting. The agenda of the meeting mainly included a speech by the executive vice president of the Society, researcher Ding Sai, a report on the work of the Society in 2022 by Deputy Secretary General Chen Yuyao, a report on the academic activities planned for 2023 by Secretary General Zhou Shaoqing, suggestions on the work of the Society and academic activities planned by the participating leaders, and a concluding speech by the president, researcher Zhao Tianxiao. Professor Liu Zhongmin from the Middle East Studies Institute of Shanghai International Studies University attended the meeting as the vice president of the Chinese Society of World Ethnicities and made suggestions on the activities of the Society in 2023.
