AbstractBrunei's Hajj management involves the maintenance of relations between Brunei and Saudi Arabia, the sovereign state of the holy land of Hajj, and its management mechanism has effectively promoted the continuous development of friendly relations between the two countries. Since independence in the 1980s, Brunei has gradually established a government-led, enterprise-based and sectoral management mechanism for Hajj administration. This mechanism has provided an important guarantee for the smooth implementation of Hajj affairs in Brunei, and has also influenced the structure rules of bilateral interaction between Brunei and Saudi Arabia. Under the influence of Brunei's Hajj management mechanism, religious and cultural relations have become the foundation of the relationship between Brunei and Saudi Arabia. This not only lays a good social and political foundation for the two Islamic countries to deepen their bilateral friendship and cooperation, but also gives a strong impetus to the development of bilateral relations in terms of hierarchy, stability and diversity. At the same time, Brunei's Hajj management mechanism is also conducive to overcoming some objective limitations in the interaction between the two sides, which is a key factor for the stability and development of bilateral diplomatic relations between Brunei and Saudi Arabia.
