Speaker Introduction:

Li Weijian, PhD, is a researcher at the Shanghai Institute for International Studies. He is mainly engaged in research on the Middle East, China's Middle East diplomacy and relations between China and Middle East countries. He is also a member of the Academic Committee of the Middle East Studies Institute of Shanghai International Studies University, an academic advisor to the Center for Middle East Studies at Fudan University, and an editorial board member and anonymous reviewer of academic journals such as West Asia and Africa, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Arab World Studies, Shanghai International Studies University, and Middle East Studies, Northwestern University.
