Abstract: On January 26, 2023, Israeli forced shot and killed nine Palestinians and wounded 20 others near the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank in what Palestinians called the Jenin Massacre. on January 27, armed Gaza fired missiles at Israel, prompting Israeli bombardment in retaliation for Gaza. On the same day, seven Israelis were killed in an attack near a synagogue in East Jerusalem. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which began in late 2022, has escalated since Israel's far-right government came to power.
