Abstract:On March 20, 2003, under the pretext that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction, the United States launched a war of aggression against Iraq without the authorization of the United Nations Security Council. Twenty years later, Iraq has yet to emerge from the wounds of war, and the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East, U.S. diplomacy and global strategy are still affected by the war, and reflections on it have never stopped.
